Amp board.
Yea I saw poop on my Shamwow, (smart mouse), Then started smelling It more and more so I started tearing out interior and sure enough there was a huge nest behind that panel, I could see where they were crawling through in the dust on the vent, mouse traps in garage now
And the back seat is still useable ??
Absolutely... I had to make the back seat fully functional. I have 3 grandkids that ride back there. ...lol
Thanks for the compliment.
I was a little worried about heat with the amps behind the seat, but last week my buddies and I went to my hunting camp and we gave the amps a good workout and they didn't cut out once.

I'm glad I could help. If you need any advice on the backrest removal, let me know and I'll try to help. There's some pretty good posts available though. I couldn't have got through that without them.
Make sure you install the amp board, without the amps first. Then lay out where your amps will be located, making sure you leave clearance for the RCA's. Once laid out, you can remove the board and install the amps, cap, and distro block, doing that part on your tailgate. Wire everything except for the main power and ground. Once you reinstall the board with the amps, all you have left to do is speakers, RCAs, main power and ground.
Oh, by the way... When I said my seat is fully functional, I meant I can get 3 car seats, or my drunken buddies back there. I can no longer lift the drivers side portion of the seat. My Foxbox and JL sub won't let me anymore, but that was just wasted space anyway. I'm very happy with the installation and how everything sounds, thanks to the outstanding members of this forum.
Apologies to the OP for kinda hijacking this thread, but hopefully this will help you too Stealth.

Wait wtf? The system wont turn off or the truck wont turn off? If the system wont turn off then go pull the (-) battery terminal. If the truck wont turn off...LOL.
