I have tried to find a concealed spot to mount my bass **** that's not to hard to get to, installing/using. I wanted to mount it in my ashtray but there is not enough room to mount it in there. I have an 04 Supercrew lariat, so that should give you an idea of what my truck looks like, so anyone please give me some ideas of where to mount my JL Audio Bass **** in a hidden spot?

I'm not sure if your lariat has the same dash setup as my XLT but mine is mounted right beside the cigarette lighter. I'll try to get a pic .

 

x2 that oval black piece pops right out

 

This isn't a real concealed place to put it, but it just seemed like the perfect place. The black piece pops out. there was a plug there, but it didn't go to anything. I just cut off the surround for that plug and drilled a small hole.

This is the JL CL-RLC. it isn't the regular bass ****.

 

what about the coin holder to the left of the radio bezel? Would that look stupid...i never use that thing.

 

Inside the center console would be concealed, wouldn't be terrible to access, but not the best either.

I really like using that black oval piece for things though, i have a USB and Aux input that i installed on mine, the bass **** looks great.

 

Finally decided to mount it in the coin holder...i think it looks pretty good.
