Yea my father did that a while ago, but I definately want some fish in there. I'm planning to have a pretty full bio load once it gets all finished up.

yea i had a small tank for awhile that was just coral... it was a lot of fun to play around with because to tell the truth i dont feel so bad when i accidently mix two of the wrong corals together as compared to two fishes that decide to declare war on the rest of the tank

anyway i recommend doing that when u wanna experiment on something before adding it to the "main" tank

weird/cool music

I just recently obtained some pretty cool music from a friend. One cd is a promotional cd for the Sharper Image titled "Global Chill." Pretty interesting. I got my hands on some others like Paul Hardcastle, Genetic World, and Norman Brown.

Some is Jazzy instrumental, some is kind of Eurolounge.

Has anyone listened to these? Does anyone have any other recommendations? I was on Amazon checking out a group called Hooverphonic and Massive Attack. Different, yet interesting.

Damn you...you should have just let it die!

Would rather not talk about politics...

But a good song I listened to and sounded pretty cool was Lionel Richie - All Night Long. The trumpets in it along with some other thigns sound really good. And yes I really do like that song...haha

The Aquarium is coming along. I just put a coat of poly on it today and hope to have it up by saturday because that when I HAVE to pick up the live rock. As soon as it gets setup I am going to start/finish the trim work and doors for it. Will get some pictures of it in a few days hopefuly.

Do you live anywhere near the Home Depot in Denham or All Star ford?

From where I live in Greenwell Springs I can make it to Clegg's Nursery in Denham in about 8 mins, Home Depot or Chili's in about 15 mins. I go to those alot. I will be at Cleggs and Home Depot saturday. Got to tune up the Echo weedeater and Echo blower and stop by cleggs.
Just planted 5 bradford pears, 2 eastern redbuds, 1 lemon tree, 1 satsuma tree, 8 river birch.

But hey, I hauled them all with my 5.4L F150 with no problem!!!
Didnt even have to take it out of overdrive!!

Haha...Nice

We still only have half a yard of grass. We need to get some dirt into the back yard then lay down the other half of grass because right now its nothing more than weeds. Boy I cant wait till I have to mow this yard with a push mower. Some of the front flower beds finally got some work done to them.

I'll be going back an forth to home depot this weekend too because I need to get the plumbing together for the tank. I have hit up 3 home depots around here and none of them has what I need all in one stop.

I hope to haul all my pulmbing in my 4.2 F-150 with my Zapco amps (gotta keep the thread on topic ), but I may have to take it out of overdrive.

What did you decide to do with the box for your subs?

Well, I regained my amp the other day using the 3/4 rule. It sounds fine. My amp gains are maybe 1/2 way up. No hissing, clicks, background noise.
I am also using the bass boost on my Clarion HU. It has made a world of difference. My sub just wans't getting the power it needed to move it. I think that is why it bottomed out the other day. I tried to get it to do it again playing the same song, but it didn't. I had to turn down my bass gain on the HU to keep my 6.5's in the door from trying to jump out, but I use the sub vol control to control the bass. The bass boost effects everything. No punch **** on the amp to isolate the sub. Good noticeable increase in midbass and sub bass. I am going to keep the bass boost on. No noticeable distortion.

If I do anything I will build a sealed box one day. I have many other projects to do this spring.

Sounds good...You'll have to let me listen to it one of these days.

Once I get some free time I'd be more than willing to give you a hand on the sealed box if you'd like. Hell, we could even do some ported boxes if you wanted to play around with it.

No fishies yet...Tank has got to cycle and the water levels have level out. The first fish will probably be a flame angle ( http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...=21&pCatId=444 ) or a pair of clowns ( http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...21&pCatId=1114 or http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...=21&pCatId=755 ).

Keep in mind that the stand and canopy are not done yet. I still have to do the trim and the doors.

Also, the rock has not been arranged yet. I just tossed the rock in there to get it in the tank. I may try to arrange it sometime today, but still not sure if I want to mess with it yet.
