Transformation Tuesday. .. In progress

This build continues to challenge me in many ways but thought I'd share the latest changes. ..

Custom grill finally painted and ready to install the Mesh inserts, Smoothed and painted the mirror caps, tailgate handle housing, bed corner moldings, and having the paint scheme on the wheels changed to give it a Suttle change yet different than others. .

Was planning on adding pearl to the entire truck but at last minute, changed my mind as I wasn't completly happy with test panels and fear of matching if needed later.

WOW, looking great and thank for sharing your in progress pics! Was wondering how far down the sound deadening went under the cab rear window. Also WHERE did you get the Ford emblems? I have a shadow black KR and would love to swap out the blue for black ovals!

Patman, thanks for the link they look great!

Goon3, so I understand you correctly you are adding the grill shutters and the grill in your pics is the Harley "bumper" grill? Are you planning on putting something in between the grill bars to hide the shutters? I'm going to be doing something with the stock King Ranch grill...just not sure what yet. I'd like to replace with a new Limited grill, but I bet Ford wants in the neighborhood of $1K for a new one...I really like the way the Limited grill is "finished" along the lower edge...would go perfect with my Caribou wrap on the front center bumper...

My build is a little complicated lol. .. My grill is actually a Lariat grill that'd been completely torn down, cut apart, lots of fabrication and molding. Same process as well for lower grill/bumper insert using a Harley grill from a 2012 to modify .

The upper grill has mesh inserts to fill in but those are getting finished as we speak. Here's pics to give you bettee idea. Check your pms soon ... I may be able to help you with Platinum grill ")
