F150LEDS.com headlight system review
Hello all! I just wanted to give a review on my MARK III 2015 headlight system for my 2015 f150. The light output is AMAZING, but maybe too amazing. I notice at night, about 30% of the drivers I pass head on flash there brights at me thinking I have mine on, but really I only have my low beams on. On the website it Saids that there are 6000 lumens per bulb, and that's a lot. Tonight I was behind a driver on a 1 lane road, and once it merged into a 2 lane and I passed him, he immediately turned is brights on behind me. (Guess he was a little mad) Everything about the lights are great. I just think maybe they're too bright for other people. So these are perfect, just go in knowing that you may not make some people happy!

Good job on the lighting, but see if you can adjust them as having other driver's hassle you about having your blights on is going to get old pretty fast
Good luck!!

I looked at their website. I did not see where the light has DOT approval. If it isn't so marked on the light unit, it is illegal. Some areas it may not be an issue. Around here, you'll get the opportunity to follow the cops to an auto parts store and return the lights to factory or they will confiscate the truck- you cannot drive in Texas with any modification to the headlight assembly or the bulb. Your state may be different so be aware. If it doesn't have the DOT marking, it is not legal in any state.

Sounds like these led headlights produce a ton of glare just like a lot of the others.
The light isn't being focused where you need it, it's being thrown in other drivers eyes.
Either adjust your headlights down a lot or I'd get rid of them. Don't blind others.
Park 25' from a wall and see where your cut off is. There should be a defined line and no light should be shining above about 3 feet.
With the LED headlights I use, I have not been flashed once. I checked and double checked them and they are not throwing glare into other drivers eyes. To me, that is just as important as them lighting up the road for us. I would not use an LED that blinded others.

Be careful to not over tighten the adjustment screw trying to get then too low. (expensive lesson, cheap plastic) The Ford link I saw said measure center height of bulb from the ground. Mark a horizontal line in the wall at that dimension and lower your beams to below that mark with truck back 25 feet on level surface. For me that's 41.5". My headlights are aimed below 41" @25 feet.

I'll find the link to the Ford site when I get a min. Just don't break the plastic adjustment screw. $
