Question Lift

Hey there. New 2015 f150 2.7L Ecoboost 4x2 owner here. Might be dumb to ask but can I lift my truck? I'm hoping to go form a 4 in lift and some decent size tires for an aggressive look.

I don't think I've seen any flirts but you should be able to level it.

I have seen a level on a 2wd. Actually rode in it too and it was just fine. Big tires too like 285/60/20 I think.

To get 4 inches I would do a 2 inch level and 2 inch lift spindles if they are available. Blocks in the back, 2.5 inches extra would do it. Pretty cheap set up.

I put a little leveling lift on my 2wd tundra but they pretty much are identical to the 4x4, same leveling kit and all. But Tundras really need it, fit 295s just fine.

Any brand in particular? Sorry if I should like a noob (I am). First truck ever. So I would really be leveling the truck not necessarily a "lift"?

Well a leveling kit will lift the front via spring compression and forcing the front end up so you loose the rake. The spindles are what your wheel attaches to and you can get them so they lower the attachment point thereby lifting the truck more.

In the back you would need to raise it so everything is equal. Blocks are generally used.

Dont know much on brands, maybe google it.

You would need rear shocks with the new blocks.

I would just research that stuff. Tundra guys did the same set up I have seen online.

If you dont have 3.55 gears or higher numerically I wouldn't upsize the tires too much because you will be getting out of factory gearing parameters too much.

Yeah. I don't plan on having huge tires. Just something for the aggressive look. A 3 inch lift would even make me happy. I just want to be sure everything will be ok considering that it's a 2.7 liter engine.

You could always throw a set of 4.10 gears in
