Acc. mode with keyless start

I just bought a Lariat with push button start. A lot of times I'm outside doing things or even at the beach and want to have my truck radio on. My old truck, 2010 FX2, I could turn the key to Acc. and listen all day long. With my new truck, since it doesn't have a key, how do you listen to the radio without it cutting off every 20 minutes or so? It's very frustrating to keep having to push the start button just so I can listen to the radio with the engine off. With the start button it turns every thing on including the ac blower. I have then have to switch of the ac so it won't drain the battery.

Thanks in advance.

I would love to know the answer also. Searched the online owners manual and it is vague. states the button has 3 positions off- on- stop. Looks like everything is live in the on position. Hope not, I like to listen to just the radio when the engine is off.

Yes you're right. Everything is on when you push the start button.

Can't you plug the key fob in somewhere? My Audi lets me keep the battery on as long as I want and I'm expecting I can do the same in the Ford when it gets here.

Drive up to my spot and park.
Put the key in the recharge receptacle.
Turn off the car.
Done.

Nope. There is no place to plug in the key fob.

I was watching a thing about Ford MyKey. It requires you to connect the FOB to an administrative port. Is that not in the F-150?

From what I've read, it's only used for programming and if the battery dies in the fob. It's hidden in the console. You don't plug it in. It's an outline of the fob that you place it in.
