The 2015 Ford F150 and 2015 Lincoln Navigator both come with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6, but the F150 packs only 365hp and 420lb-ft of torque while the Lincoln gets 380hp and 460lb-ft of torque.

For our Question of the Week, we want to know what you think about this. Should Ford have used the same, more-powerful 3.5L EcoBoost V6 in the 2015 F150 that they used in the new Navigator?

 

I think its the same engine just use high octane and you'll get the 380 HP in the 150. You have to use high octane in the Navigator.

 

I think you're just a tune away from those numbers or better, but will need premium fuel to get the most out of it.

 

I think you are right, and I think you CAN use low octane in the Navi, it will dial itself back.

Why would Ford do 2 different versions? Not cost-effective.
