Question of the Week: Would you consider a new Bronco based on the F150?

There has been lots of talk about a new full sized Bronco based on the 2015 F150. While Ford hasnt offered any indication that they are working on a new body-on-frame Bronco, there seems to be a whole lot of interest from the general public.

For our Question of the Week, we want to know if you would like to see a new Bronco based on the 2015 F150.

Not sure if I would actually be in the market for one at this point but I would like to see them come back with a two door version. Loved my 82 and 93 back in the day.

Since when is the Explorer a LARGE SUV? You sure you didn't mean Expedition?

.
Another insulting bogus poll from Patricck R. at Internet Brands. The question is would you buy a Bronco. Then the response options have bias designed to get you to answer one way instead of a truthful up or down vote on would you buy a Bronco.

How about none of the above. Most folks have no clue what a Bronco is and few have ever ridden in one. All they know is that it's a short wheelbase truck with a camper top on it. I own a 1991 Eddie Bauer Bronco since new. It's more than just a truck with a camper top, a lot more. It's a very serious off road vehicle. Mine will go places you won't walk. With todays Mickey Mouse 4x4 systems, all a "new" Bronco will bring to the game is shame. They should make the dimwits that design these things walk the hundreds of miles their buyers have to walk because the guy stuck his "4x4" in mud or it won't climb a creek bed bank. My Bronco never has these issues and I have pulled far too many of the new ones out, some requires I get in some really bad crap just to go around them to get a better angle to pull them out. If they put a locking transfer case and locking front and rear axles under them, then yeah. It'd be a dandy ride but the cost would mean it would be too expensive and would be a specialty vehicle. Specialty vehicles have a tendency to sit on dealer lots when the "new" wears off of the concept.

What the heck? The Expedition is the rival to the Tahoe.

Expedition is the competitor for the Tahoe/Suburban . . . Explorer competes with the Traverse.

Ford Bronco: The official Jeep extraction vehicle since 1966.

I liked my '89 that I drove in High School but I wouldn't buy one again. The Explorer fails as a true SUV or ORV.

If Ford made something Wrangler sized with the originals goods looks, they'd have a hard time keeping them on dealer lots.
