2016 F150. I hate the little blind spot mirror that ford put in the corners of my mirrors. Does ant one know if, or where I can buy replacement mirror glass with out the spot mirrors?

Those of us with the blind spot monitoring system don't have the little built in mirrors. You might just be able to get a replacement glass from Ford.

 

And, I haven't looked at how the mirror glass is mounted, but any decent glass cutting shop should be able to cut one of the proper shape for you and the cost would not be excessive.

Any one else notice how the chrome on the air vent beside the window on driver's side causes a glare reflection in the middle of the mirror view? The chrome is at an angle that makes it visible, not sure if this is because of my seat forward/backward position, or other factors such as my height or where I rest my head? Is this a design flaw in that the chrome is too shiny to be placed in front of the mirror, or is this a matter of accidental angles making a reflection that should not be there?

Any one else notice this glare problem during daylight hours?

 

Yes, brand new 2016 F150 XLT FX4 and have the same problem. Wonder if Ford knows, I am going to write customer service......
