Interior spy shots and a few more exterior shots

Here’s a bunch of pics of the new interior. It follows the new corporate theme as seen on the new Mustang and the Atlas to an extent. It also mentions a new 3.2L 5 cylinder and new V6s that will probably debut a few years after the new body. I suspect Ford will repeat what they did in 2009 and have a new body and a few years later a small refresh with new engines.

This info screen sure seems small.... Not sure how I feel about the rectangular vents either, reminds me of my dads 1990 F150

That's from a poverty spec truck the higher trim packages get a much larger screen. The article said 4.2" and 8" screens depending on the options.

You can see it on the column in image 9.

Looks like we're getting our grab handles back on the driver's side!

I'm not a big interior guy anyway, but this (these) change(s) is nothing to write home about imo. The difference in interior between an XLT and a Lariat is where all that extra money comes into play. That "poverty spec" dash looks very old and outdated, as do the current ones.

That smaller screen is nothing new, I believe they started having the small 4.2" screen in 2013

Except when the battery dies or the remote's transmitting is having a hiccup and the vehicle refuses to start. Some are a real pain to remove the key from the remote, then remove the cover on the push button to get to the ignition barrel (if it even has one). Then when the battery on the car dies, it's a pain (and is the case of the Corvette, it requires gymnastics and contortions) to get into the car.

I hate the damn things . . . #cardealership probs

Just how drunk are you getting that sliding the key into the hole and giving it a little turn is hard? The new trucks already have autostart tied to the ignition. Once you engage the starter the PCM takes over and spins till the motor starts and disengages once it fires off. You can't overcrank one.

Still way to many buttons. Put more things on touch screen. Tesla has only a touch screen and its setup beautifully. Dodge has a cleaner setup in their rams.

Thanks for these pics guys. I came here just to find out about the Atlas to see if it was true. I am eagerly awaiting this truck!

I've got a lot of keys on my key-chain for all the things that I do so not having them dangle around on the column is better for the ignition and why should I need to take my keys off my belt loop to start it when I could just get in sit down and hit a button.

I agree the one click is nice for starting but I'd prefer key-less push button
