Hard start

I have a 09 f150 platinum with the 5.4. For the last couple days when it’s cold outside the truck will not start. Once it warms up it will start and run fine till it’s sits overnight. I have 55lbs of pressure at the fuel rail. I have no codes and the fuel pump driver module is new. Also the fuse pump fuse has already be relocated. I’m lost now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When you mean it doesn't start, does it crank (engine turn)?

I would say have the battery tested at this point.

It might be the fuel pump, but a battery test is free.

Ok. Let's see what other folks come up with. Maybe I'm forgetting something to check on those '09 trucks.

Ok so I have cleaned the throttle body. I had a shop look at the truck. They suggested a fuel pump. So new fuel pump. New fuel pump driver module. And still having this issue.

I think at this point, you will need to go to a shop that has a computerized scan tool, and someone that can sit down and compare values from the service manual. It's a tedious job, but in your case, without throwing parts at it, is the best way.

I just got it out of the shop. They hook it up to a scan tool and I was told all the values were correct on everything else. Then it died on me on the way home from work. Now it will run for a few mins and shut off.

When they replaced the fuel pump, did they replace the fuel filter?

It doesn’t have a inline filter. Just the one on the fuel pump it’s self

That's what I asked. Did they replace it? Fuel pump does not come with one, it's a separate part.
