Faulty Oil Pressure Switch

Vehicle is a 2013 Ford F150. When I come to a stop, the oil pressure gauge drops to 0 and the oil light comes on. When I accelerate everything goes back to normal. I took it to the dealership and it was found that I had a faulty oil pressure switch. A new oil pressure switch was installed & the problem went away. My question is, does this have anything to do with the fact that I got an oil change at this same dealership exactly 7 days prior to me having this problem? I asked the dealership about this, but they told me this was purely a coincidence. I have my reservations about that, hence why I'm looking for opinions on here. I appreciate any help. Jack

Not that it matters for this post, HOWEVER ...

HINT/TIP: Put your -complete- vehicle information (year, model, cab, trim, engine, wheelbase, _x4 drive, mileage, modifications, etc., etc.) in your signature -OR- provide it in your posting(s).

I was able to get more info today and yeah, you're right, it simply was a coincidence. I appreciate it.

Nope, Owned about 20 fords and it is a random happening. They can last 300K or fail at any time. Unless he disconnected the wire (and it would be a dead zero), it is a coincidence. I had one fail right after an oil change and most recently on a Grand Marquis (with a dummy light) fail intermittently.
