Fuel issues

Hi I own a 2010 Ford F-150 gasoline engine and am getting approximately 1.5 miles per gallon on the highway. I recently had the oil changed. I have no alerts or check engine lights on. I know it’s a truck but 1.5 miles per gallon is ridiculous. I need suggestions as to what could be causing such poor fuel efficiency.

Check for major leaks. If it were actually burning that much it would be blowing black smoke.

I doubt the engine would start if all of that fuel was going thru the engine. The oil should smell of gas in 20 miles at that rate and you would be risking a fuel detonation in the crankcase. I'd be looking for leaks. The truck should smell of strong, raw gas.
