AC Blower not working

Hi Everyone,

My AC blower is not working again. I had it replaced along with the blower resistor more than a month ago and now I'm having the same problem.
I would really appreciate assistance on what would be the problem this time or my mechanic has missed to figure out the cause of the problem.

Looking forward to your positive response.

Thank you.

What vehicle are we talking about? We can't see it through the Internet.

Hi GLC,

sorry I forgot to provide vital info but it's for a 2009 F150 Lariat 5.4L.

This lunch I tried to put the ignition to RUN and the engine OFF, I switched the AC mode between OFF and any other position and the blower works.

This has happened before so I brought this to a local mechanic and he replaced the blower motor and resistor just over a month ago. Then yesterday afternoon it's not working.

I don't know what causes this problem. Would really appreciate your input as I am living in one of the hot places of California.

Thank you.

It might be another blower motor or resister?

If the resistor goes out, you will have only highest speed fan, other speeds won't work.

I just noticed sometimes its working and sometimes it's not. then I switch the mode and then again it works.

What seems to be the problem if its acting like this?

would appreciate your input.

Thanks

Take it back to the mechanic who replaced the parts and have him troubleshoot it some more.

He'll probably "troubleshoot" it by hanging yet more unneeded parts on it.

The switch itself might be worn, causing the intermittent issue.

Would this be the Blower Control Switch with Automatic or manual controls?

You need to identify which climate control system you have, manual or automatic. The circuits, believe it or not, are different.
