2010 not starting after refuel.

For the last couple months when I fill up with gas when I go to start it try's then shuts down. I go outside and push the pump nozzle in the cap less fuel fill and sometimes it starts. Today it did it again tried starting a couple times it cranks but no start. Got out the emergency funnel and poked in the fill a couple times and wahla, started. Never any other no start problems , runs great. Please advise?

I'd guess that maybe your fuel pump is going bad?

I'm pretty sure that sticking the pump nozzle and/or filter into the fill neck several times isn't helping anything... ... ...

I'd recommend getting this on the radar of your local dealership, sultini. How many miles are on your truck?

MGDfan is suggesting that it's either a problem with the ...
  • FPDM - Fuel Pump Driver Module
    -or-
  • EVAP system - Evaporative Emission Control System
Me ... I would lean towards a contaminated EVAP canister (caused by consistently over-filling the fuel tank past the 1st -click-off-).

I too suspect the evaporative system.
