New Truck!! (Maybe??) Supercharged!

22" tires aren't any more than the tires I buy for the truck I have now.
Drop-in bed liner...got that now. Easy fix.
Again, the #1 most glaring negative is not having a warranty.
Ok well first of all the limited awd had lots of problems, Since they went back to 4x4 they have been better .. You will definitely have to upgrade your D shaft and u joints .. Those already expensive tires won't last long since boost is very fun in the 6.2 and once it hits you will spin 100% unless moving at a good speed already .. Gas mileage sucks real bad , but hey it sounds cool while cruising through town ...

This particular truck isn't full-time AWD. Not sure if that makes a difference. It's switchable from 2WD, AWD, and 4HI.
I agree that I'd probably be pretty hard on tires at first. Methinks once the "newness" of all that extry silly pahr wears off, I'd be a might more ginger with the ol' gal. Maybe not....

Gas mileage is a concern as well. Not my biggest concern, but a concern nonetheless.
All good points!
Don't plan on getting 16 mph ever on the 6.2... Ford is not making that engine available in the next generation of the F-150. That being said it is a blast to drive and you won't regret it. So just go for it...
Good points from me northern neighbor, eh?

I agree. The Limited and Platinum are just not for me.

However, my dealership gets tons of highly modified vehicles in all the time, many with next to no miles. I tend to be wary, but most of them are fine.

I agree with several of the others here, keep your truck. You already have a truck of the month winner. Most of us would love just to be considered for that. The headlight light treatment on yours inspired mine. Second, you can easily add 50rwhp or more to your truck with a performance tune from MPT and a AFE CAI. If the blower is a major thing to you, finance it. There are a lot of banks still doing signature loans. Spread it out over the remainder of your loan. Lastly, a warranty these days is a major thing. I regret not buying the extended on my truck just for piece of mind.
I too would love to have a blower. Its just not practical on a cop salary with todays fuel prices, so I will settle for a sharp truck (unless i can find a raptor I can afford, then all bets are off).
