2014 build & price is up

Just checked ford's website and the 14 B&P for 150's is up.

A 4x4 tremor base stickers for 42,425. with plus pack stickers for 45,515

A 2wd tremor base is 38,310 and with the plus pack is 41,400

Looks like the price my salesman quoted me back in Aug was dead on.

2wd Tremor will be nicely priced once they hit the dealers lots.

I just priced a 2014 FX2 exactly like my 2013 FX2 and went from $46,470 to $47,015. So $545 increase for the exact same truck.

Cool

Just for kicks and giggles I did a build of my Lariat. The packages are a bit different but the equipment ends up being the same. For my truck the difference was HID's, Power fold/extend Max Tow Mirrors, and instead of a 3.73 LS, now it is electronic lock. I special ordered my truck in Oct. '10.
Total vehicle & Options - 49,225.00
D+D ----------------------- 975.00
Total before discounts -- 50,230.00
Lariat Prem. Discount ---- 1,000.00

Sticker Price - 49,230.00.

As I built it for 2014 - 54,225.00.

I just built an XLT with HID's. And leather. They are both available separately. It also has an 8' bed SuperCab which I must have.

I noticed that they no longer charge an extra $300+ for the cloth seats with center console. Whether you get the jump seat or the center console with cloth you will be charge the same price. The only extra charge for XLT seat type is $995. for leather. I'd probably just stick with the cloth seats if I was buying an XLT today.

2013 XLT F-150 in my desired configuration: $42,710.

2014 XLT F-150 in the same configuration: $44,920.
Add $595 for HID: $45,515.

Not sure how to get the Kicker subwoofer. Is that part of the 2014 price increase?

On the plus side I can save $395. by going with Sunset Metallic instead of Ruby Red.

I just built an XLT and optioned it up somewhat-$47590. That is nuts for XLT. Add in leather seats and a few other options that I didnt tick and you could theoretically have a $50k XLT!!!

$39,500 for the new stx quad cab with a v-8 and standard diff, no other options. Decor package is standard. Rather pricey!

I don't know what exactly is going on, but the actual selling price of trucks can't have gone up more than a few hundred, maybe a thousand dollars. Otherwise, they wouldn't sell.

Cool

Kmac0694, I agree. So I went back to really compare what I did, and to make sure I didn't make an error. I did make a slight error, but the overall pricing between mine and 2014 is still between 3,400-3,500.00 smackaroos.
A 2014 Lariat base Supercab, 6 1/2' box, 4x2, 5.0, 3.31 reg. axle - $36,825.00.
Then, add Supercrew, 5 1/2' box, 4x4, 6.2, 3.73 E-lock axle -
$48,030.00. Adding options that are similar to my '11 Lariat adds $4,625.00.
So now the sticker is $52,655.00, plus D+D of $1095.00 = $53,750.00.

My 2011 Lariat Supercrew, 5 1/2' box, 4x4, 6.2, 3.73 LS axle -
$39,615.00. Adding options of $9,640.00.
So now the sticker is $49,255.00, plus D+D of $975.00 = $50,230.00.
Plus at the time I got a Lariat Premium discount of $1,000.00 = $49,230.00

Options and pricing packages have changed. The differences in my case are
1) Ruby Red where as Mine is Red Candy dark clear coat metallic, but both where an additional cost about the same.
2) 3.73 E-locking axle where as mine is a 3.73 LS.
3) Powerfold/extend max tow mirrors where as mine are manual fold/extend
4) HID headlamp where as mine are halogen.

That's as close to apples to apples as I can get.

My Sticker

Scarlet, there have been price increases every year - and yours is 3 years old. Also, they are jacking up the price of the 6.2 even more to discourage it - CAFE.

I am hoping the price increase is to lighten the blow of any next gen price increase. In a couple of months the "I'm glad" posts will be coming. All we will hear is how glad everyone is that they got a 2014 and how they saved os much money and how "glad" they are they did not wait for an "ugly" 2015.
