Scarlet, your 2011 Lariat pricing seems high for some reason? I see the MSRP, but am unable to figure out why my 2013 Platinum 4x4 5.5' bed loaded (except for no sunroof) MSRP was $50,380 (not including the $995 destination charge? Mine is the std 5.0 and my options were the tailgate step, skid plates and 3.55 Electronic Lock RR rear axle..most everything else is standard on the Platinum and I would have thought Ford would leave a bit of a price gap between all the models...

A 2014 Lariat base Supercab, 6 1/2' box, 4x2, 5.0, 3.31 reg. axle - $36,825.00.
Then, add Supercrew, 5 1/2' box, 4x4, 6.2, 3.73 E-lock axle -
$48,030.00. Adding options that are similar to my '11 Lariat adds $4,625.00.
So now the sticker is $52,655.00, plus D+D of $1095.00 = $53,750.00.

My 2011 Lariat Supercrew, 5 1/2' box, 4x4, 6.2, 3.73 LS axle -
$39,615.00. Adding options of $9,640.00.
So now the sticker is $49,255.00, plus D+D of $975.00 = $50,230.00.
Plus at the time I got a Lariat Premium discount of $1,000.00 = $49,230.00

Options and pricing packages have changed. The differences in my case are
1) Ruby Red where as Mine is Red Candy dark clear coat metallic, but both where an additional cost about the same.
2) 3.73 E-locking axle where as mine is a 3.73 LS.
3) Powerfold/extend max tow mirrors where as mine are manual fold/extend
4) HID headlamp where as mine are halogen.

That's as close to apples to apples as I can get.
