I have about 14k miles. It would have more but I only live 2 miles from work. But most importantly she doesn't see any of the winter road salt. I drive it some in fresh snow but once the road salt comes out she goes back in the garage.
I've had good luck with first year F150s. I also had a 97 F150 that I bought new in 97. I put 180k miles on that truck with no real issues besides regular maintenance and replacing normal wear parts.

Reliability. Its an all aluminum gas engine with turbochargers. This has never been done before in a truck. I want to see these out at least 6-8 years before I buy one. If Ford decides to abandon the design in a few years your resale value will drop. Its just like the Powerstroke 6.0L (which I think can be a good motor) & 6.4L motors. You can name your price on one of those. In any case, I want to see some Ecoboosts with 300,000+ real world miles.

i know of a few ecoboosts here locally that are sitting at over 300k and will probaly make it to 500k before they get sold off. I know on atleast 2 of them they are mostly original parts except for transmission's.. The other 10 im not to sure cause they swap vehicles to the other shops in different states

Only thing it did not have was the bucket seats which i can do without. Also got the lift through the dealer so it would be warrantied and wont void any other warranty also got a good deal on the lift. Now just have to get tires and wheels then i will go have them throw on the lift and set up appoint to get the leather added. Heres some pictures:

Congrats on the new truck she is beaut!! What did you end up getting for gears and how much payload does it have?? I hope your not still thinking about a fifth wheel trailer for the future?? Unfortunately even with some the smallest fifth wheels there pin weight will put you over your trucks GVWR. Just wondering why you didn't consider a truck with the Max tow pkg and HD payload pkg??

I'm actually very curious what the final out-the-door price was, including the leather and lift. And then again with the wheels and tires added. I'm sure a lot of people want to know what a new, nice, and badassified F150 will run them!

Sticker price was 42,995 (with "Dealer Markup" at 46,005 which i think is pointless) Final price we agreed upon for the truck without addons was $31500 with 1.9 APR through them to obtain the rebates (originally they were giving me a 2.99 till i walked out the door) and got them to throw in the leather for free. The 6" lift was an additional $3000 (they wanted $5800 originally for the lift which is SUPER outrageous) to have them put it on and also got the xzilon thrown in for $100. so final price with lift and coating was 34,600 after everything. As far as the leather they said it can be almost any design i.e. Black leather with red/blue/green/ect stitching/rope/ect. Going to try to do the black and red stitching and see if they will also stitch "F150" into the back of the seat.

Damn! That's a SUPER great deal. Leather is an expensive option, and $31.5k for a 4X4 is about as low as it gets. You're looking at about $37k once she's all done up, and I'd definitely much rather have that than a stock Plat! And you'd still have some cash in your pocket over a Plat

Brandon
I had a 2010 F150 5.4L that was a nice truck but the transmission was nothing but trouble and then I had lower control arm and body mount troubles.

I was thinking about going to Dodge but their trucks are glorified cars and I needed a truck but didn't want a 3/4 ton.

I talked to my ford salesman and he was going to cut me a good deal on what I ever I wanted as my wife and I have bought 5 vehicles from him.

I just couldn't gamble on the Ecoboost.

I chose the 5.0L with 3.73 axles for the best towing capacity of 9300 lbs on a Crew Cab 4WD 145" WB. Now my old 2010 5.4L had the Max Tow Package available to it but this 5.0L does not. I can tell you for a fact that this 5.0L pulls so much easier at all rpms and speeds, it incredible.

I tow a travel trailer, a large one at that, and it pulls it effortlessly in high winds and hills.

I found my 5.0L truck to tow great!

It's your money, pick what you want, not what someone else wants.

A day late, and a dollar short.

Nice looking truck! Enjoy!

I like my EB. I have 24,000 miles on mine since Dec and the engine runs and pulls great.
3.73 elocker. Never downshifts out of 6th gear to pull hills. just lugs down and pulls. Love the turbo whistle.

Started out getting 15.5, now it gets 17.6 on the same roads at the same speeds. It would do much better, but I run 82 mph on the interstate for hours on end. that drops it down a bit.
