Cool, sounds like it works just like the factory alarm. Did you ever try and unlock the truck with the door keypad to see if it disables or trips the alarm? Mine unlocks and disables the alarm. I use it all the time and it has never set off the alarm.

I can unlock the truck using keypad passcode and it disarms the system.

On the factory pads and alarms, pressing 3/4 after the code like mentioned above will unlock all the doors, and if it is a car pressing 5/6 will open the trunk, or open the glass on an Expy.

pressing 9/0 will lock the doors, pressing 9/0 a second time will arm the alarm

Gip,
I tried pressing 9/0 but it does't lock and pressing it again doesn't arm my system.

Try pressing the 7/8 & 9/0 together, that's what works for mine - locks all doors and sets alarm...

Anytime, and based on this thread, your dealer installed door key pad works the same as the factory installed door key pad. Pretty cool, my gf had 2010 Ede that had a dealer installed door key pad/alarm and it did not work like the factory unil and was very "quirky" to say the least.
