Can you remove the fx4 stickers from the bed

Hey guys, I am picking up my 2011 FX4 this weekend and I hate the big stickers in the bed. Anyone ever pull them off?

Nope. Permanent fixture. Won't come off. Even attempting to remove it can cause spontaneous combustion, melting of the polar ice caps, world famine, and explosive diarrhea.

Naaaahhh....I's just a-kiddin'. A quick search would've shown you quite a few results. In fact, it seems like I saw a thread about this subject very recently.

Heat the area well, start at a corner, and peel it off. Polish, buff, wax as necessary.

Directions to decal removal:

1. Grab keys to truck
2. Park truck in sun
3. After an hour or two start peeling on decal with fingernail
4. Repeat on other side
5. Wash and wax truck
6. Be amazed at how cleaner your truck is

I just started at a corner on my FX2 stickers. Once you can get a corner you're golden from there, peel right off. I hate the HUGE stickers also..

Yep pretty easy...I did this on my '09 Platinum Screw 4x4, but decided that after they were off, the truck looked too plain/bed too small, so I reapplied them. I'm generally not a fan of stickers of any kind but after two months or so I put them bak on...the short bed SCREW 4x4 looks better with them on (IMO).

Shoot I love the '09/'11 FX4 decal style. Wish my truck was an FX4 just so I could rightfully run them.

The 4x4 decal on my old truck's drivers side was. It was in a wreck before I bought it, they doctored it up nice and smooth, clear coated the entire panel without removing the 4x4 decal..... Pissed me off. I wanted to remove them. Oh well, did it to my black Lariat, looks much better.

This is what I did since parking in the hot sun doesn't always work in my neck of the woods. After I peeled it off took some 3M adhesive remover on a rag to make sure all was removed and waxed it.

I asked the dealer to take them off for me before I picked up the truck. You should try that. It's really easy! But then, mine isn't an FX4, so maybe it's different.

Don't know about Nebraska but the Florida sun works wonders

Then use that same hair dryer and pull off those stupid yellow stickers on the sun visors!

Anyone have a side shot before / after of their black FX2 - I've been on the fence about this forever.
