for you guys who live up north..
thanks guys. i looked into the krown thing and the one here in ohio is actually pretty close to me. a farm supply store here has fluid film too. i'll probably go to the krown dealer and get a price quote to see if its something that i'd wanna do yearly.
Some guys that live close to the Canadian border get the krown undercoating done in canada. Better then ziebart

There is a Krown dealer in Erie, PA. (also a local Line-X Dealer) That is who did mine. Jim does good work and I would recommend him to anyone.
I didn't spend $30000 on a truck to drive a beater car around all winter. I live in NB, Canada and we see our fair share of snow and the roads are heavily salted, I also back a boat into salt water about 30 times a summer. The only rusting issues I can see on my truck are the aftermarket parts (rear block ubolts, tow hitch mounting hardware). I've recently started undercoating with Fluid Film which is a great product, no drips, it's non toxic and you can find it on Amazon. My truck is 4 years old now with 100,000 kms on it and I can't see rust being an issue at all. On a side note I have a drop in liner that I removed this summer out of curiosity, the bed had some minor scratches in it but absolutely no rust at all.
