not sure what you are changing here..are you putting the lariat cluster in what...(I don't know why lariat cluster is better looking than Xl or XLT)
I called my speedo shop on the 2010 XL & they said they could program the mileage also the anti-theft so I presume that could be done!! ( $100.00)


If as in previous years my 2007 XLT was plug & play but you would still have to reprogram the correct mileage...As I said I did a 2010 XL with an XLT but it wouldn't start re: anti-theft lite was on!! The real issue here would seem that if your truck's computer was not programmed & the truck was wired say for temp readout it will not work!! Maybe other stuff also!!
in previous years an FX4 would not swap into a XLT but a Lariat would & if I remember correctly the biggest issue was the climatrol & door ajar lite in the FX4 cluster !! Just my thoughts here???
just a further note my stealerships here in Ontario all said they could update the mileage..but they can't!!!!!!!

 

Hello i put a xf4 cluster into a 05 xlt today everything works except for the air conditioner engaging, i have read there is one wire i can move the pin placement to fix this without having the cluster married,4 250$ does any one know which wire color location an where to put it.i have seen it here before but i believe it was in 2009, thanks

how did you do it?,from what i know, trucks with this swap World not start, it hapened to me, can you tell me how did you do it?

 

Does anyone know if a you could swap a new 8 inch digital cluster into a 2011 with the 4 inch lcd cluster? I know if possible it would require some sort of reprogramming. If so does anyone have a link for information on it?
