After an 11 year F150 absence, I'm back.

I just bought a 2013 F150 STX regular cab. Flame blue, with a 5.0 & 331 Locker. I get in in 1-3 days. My dealer had to trade for it.

You don't have those sweet Superduty tow rigs do you? The screen name sounds familiar.

Welcome back. Did you get rid of your F-150 after 9/11 or something?

I actually traded my 2000 Lightning in July of 01 to expand my towing business. Now with a new LED lighting business (still have the Towing business) I thought a new F150 would be perfect. And the regular cab STX is as close to a Lightning you can get now.

STILL trying to get this truck. The dealer who was trading this one to my dealer sold the truck. Nearest dealer with another is 400 miles away. Now it will be the same truck with a 3.55 Limited slip instead. Got to pay an extra $400 to get it. This sucks, but at least I get what I wanted (3.55's).

I believe you'll be happier with the 3.55 LS. Welcome back to the fold!

Beautiful truck! If i were to trade up to the new body style that's exactly what I would want. Welcome to the forum!

Lower it, 20's, Lightning Style Side Exhaust.

You said that's the closest thing to a Lightning that they make anymore, but that doesn't mean that you can't make it closer! Then again, that's kind of the path that I'm on myself, so I may be a biased!

I am thinking of a 2/4 drop. (Mcgaughy's) It sit's a bit high for my taste, but I can't find pics of a regular cab with this kit.

Well mine is a little lower than that. But if you decide to go with a 3/5 that's what I have installed. If you look in the picture thread in the lowered truck section there's a lot of info there.

I'm looking to keep full drive-ability, and the ride.
