Thought I'd share for those that do not know this exists. Replaces your handle in your tool box and keys to your truck key. I might actually lock it now . . . .

When I bought my UWS box, the dealer suggested it to me. I got one, and also picked one up for the receiver pin. I have since ordered a couple of the padlocks for use on my storage sheds. Pretty neat device.

Remember to save your original, so if you ever sell the box, you can pit it back on.

I'm not sure how it works. You turn it one way the first time to learn the key and forevermore the other. It's supposed to be 1 use. I'll pick up the the receiver pin next. A padlock too. You never know when stuff may need to be locked up!

You replace the lock mechanism that is on your toolbox with this one. The locks are specific to the type of ignition key the vehicle uses. You put your key in , turn it once, and it sets the lock to your key. It is a one time shot. To rekey it again, you need a new lock.

The toolbox lock mechanism was higher quality than the one that came on my UWS box.
