I don't like the backup sensors I need to wire another switch, for them so I can just turn them on when I want to, not everytime I put the truck in reverse I have to hit the button to turn them off. I have the factory ones tho, just get annoying cause im always towing or hauling something.

Those wires on the sensors don't look very long for a truck application. I got an "Auto-I" ($150) set for the wife's Subaru and they work as advertised, but not as good as the stock one on my F150. They are a little too sensitive. My advice would be to try and locate the system from an auto wrecker.

If your using the factory backup sensors just get the factory trailer brake controller to go with it, itll turn the sensors off whenever it detects a connected trailer

I bought a set of those for the wife's former car because it couldn't be ordered with them from the factory. They were better than nothing...but not much. Average life of a sensor was around 12 months; and the fronts would beep when driving in rain. By the time we traded it off, it was down to two of four sensors operational in the rear and one of two in the front. Typical Chinese junk in my opinion.

Yeah, I mean what the heck, it's $35 and if they stop working, I can just leave the sensors there till i sell it and replace them at that point
