2012 Eco body lift?

Has anybody seen a 3" body lift on a 2012 Platinum Eco 4x4?

In most cases for the price of a body lift installed you could swing a full suspension lift. Most places I've worked with are charging 1200-1500 for the BL installed. BL's have gotten better in quality but they are a bigger pain to install. I have never been a fan of body lifts though..

Agreed. BL is not my first choice either but I can't go with a 6" suspension lift because it won't fit under my garage door.

I haven't looked that closely under the hood of an Eco but the issue I believe you will have is intercooler. By raising the body 3" the bumper will be moved 3" up will block the air flow to the intercooler.

Why not just a 4" lift?

Great point on the intercooler, you are correct, I should have picked up on that.

I appreciate the advise.

I really was just kicking around ideas on how to solve a tire rubbing issue I am having on this thread https://www.f150online.com/forums/wh...-question.html

Looks like trimming will be my best bet.

are you rubbing the frame at full lock? or is it rubbing the wheel well liner/inside of flare/air dam?

Great looking setup BTW!

I have not seen one.
Great points about the intercooler. I was thinking some of the plumbing may be affected but I don't own one so I can't go verify for you.

I dug this article up, like how you can retain the stock suspension.

By the time you modify, assuming you pay a shop to install it, the additional labor to get it to work will probably put you into suspension lift money.

A good read to see how labor intensive it is to move the intercooler, search for petersons 4wd ecoboost build and they move the intercooler to accommodate some of the mods they do. Not sure exactly what they did to it but it'd probably show if a body lift is a feasible option.
