Electric Power Steering Fault, anyone?

I searched with no luck. My 2011 with 22k miles is throwing three warnings reguarding the EPS. I checked all of the fuses with no luck. Has anyone else seen this problem?
"Power Steering Assist Fault"
Service Advance Trac
Service Power Steering Now

Also my turn signal will not stay on, it will only so the three blink deal. Thanks for any help guys. I will have to schedule a dealer visit soon.

PS: The truck is HARD to steer when the system is in fault....

some more here>>>link>>> https://www.f150online.com/forums/su...problem-3.html

by your post of all those errors showing up....it may have something to do with a module communication being screwed up or a connection issue...

Yes it is under warranty but this is my busy season in HVAC with triple digit heat. I cant afford down time, that is why I buy new trucks every three years.

I found those searches but none are my symptom. Those are intermittent stiff or stop issues. Mine died all together at start up and hasn't worked since. Thanks guys.

The turn signal appears to be working correctly.

It should still stay on for more than 3 blinks though when you push it up (or down) further past the 3-blink lane change.

Mine does not have the turn signal mode currently, lane change only. It will not keep blinking when fully depressed. I wish I was that dumb...

Off subject, but if I have a 20 year old central a/c that might need a fart of freon, am I SOL?

Or can a company still refill freon without a retro-fit??

On 104* days, itsa pumping out 54-56* out the vents and it's never, evah been serviced, except by me which just involved cleaning.

They still sell R-22 freon it is getting around $400 a 30lb drum and markup is usually 3x's. There are also new drop in blends that work in old systems.

I got a new steering rack they said the old one died. When it died the blinker did not get position feedback so it would not stay on in turn mode. So now the steering and blinker work. It would have been almost 2 grand if out of warranty and it is only covered to 36k... Now my steering wheel is off center going down the road, must have been a Friday job...

The service writer said he has seen several dead EPS units on Explorer and Fuzion but this is the first F150 for him.
