It's a tough one.... and I am struggling with it.. I like the sound of the 5.0 but the Ecoboost has more to offer...

ALSO the 5.0 has more rebates than the Eco which means better price

You sell them, take all those demo rides, hear all the service department has to say and don't know which one you like?

Search.

Your laziness is just going to start a pissing match such as this i will act out for you.

lazy (you): which motor, i like both but uhh.....
Bluejay: test drive and decide. both are good.
Econuts: blue you just hate the v6 were awesome, buy a v6
me: facepalm

in the end it comes down to what you like, both are great no major issues out of either so far.

Mileage is the same in 99% of reports i've read so choose what suits your needs.

haha yes. Here we go again right

Engines get almost identical MPG. You put the same trucks with the different engines in the same drivers hands same conditions the EB is going to squeak out an extra 1mpg better maybe a little more. And yes I know somebody out there has a buddy who gets worse or better. But again same truck same road same driver same time, EB will be 1mpg better.

If your into sound and want to save an initial 1000 up front get the 5.0

If towing is your concern the EB is probably better.

When I got rebates and when my buddy did just a week ago, they were not different between engines.

No, was kidding. It gets old in a hurry. As stated before try out both, go with the one you like, you can't go wrong with either one.

I would still test drive both. And shop it. Regardless of rebates shop it you never know what a dealer has and how long they have been hanging onto things. They might have an EB truck with the exact same everything as a 5.0 truck and yet be a lot cheaper.
