Question 6" lift + 2" Level + 37's = Steering Stabilizer????

I plan on lifting my truck in the very near future, and I was just wondering if a Steering Stabilizer is needed on a 6" lift + 2" Level + 37's set-up? So far I've had no luck finding anybody online who sells one for the 09-12 F150's. Thanks in advance for the help.

Steering stabilizers arent for IFS trucks I believe. Mostly for straight axle trucks like the f-250's and 350's and jeeps.

yes they have them.

But no you shouldn't need one. they cause more harm than good on these trucks.

Looking forward to your build! Let us know how the power is after the lift and tires.

Thanks Erik, but honestly I would do it if I didn't have to cut the frame. Also, my wife doesn't want me to touch it because I guess I don't have the patience to do it and she doesn't want my truck to fall apart as I driving off to work LOL.... Yeah man I am working down here in Pax on base. There are a few of us late models around here, but not that much.

the 2wd frame should have nothing to cut. The 4wd you cut the diff bracket, no diff bracket on the 2wd so you should be fine.

no ****. I'm trying to pull up pro comp's instructions but their websites a POS.

Also can't believe how little of choices you have on a 2wd f150.

edit:
http://www.procompusa.com/downloads/...13_52213MX.pdf

unless i missed it i don't see any cutting required.

LOL, the reason why I am going with Zone Offroad is because Pro Comp is more expensive and they don't have a 5" rear block in their kit like Zone does.

man you might want to call Zone and ask im sure the only reason you have to cut the frame is to lower the front diff so it wont hit when you put the drop brackets on it. if yours is a 2wd then no cutting should be neccessary. LUCKY. if that is the case then you might be able to do it your self and it will be just a bolt on kit. and yeah i was born on NAS Pax back in 84. im with tacamo now out of tinker afb, the big white 707. im sure you have seen us around the base. good luck with the build man ill keep checking in to see the progress.
