leather or not?

hey guys..buying a new 2012 fx4 supercrew oxford white in early to mid feb. as soon as my income taxes hits the bank ill have enough to buy one outright with no payments.. so im trying to get my ducks in a row since this is only a couple weeks away..

2012 fx4 screw oxford white.. gonna go with the stock 18s since ill be lifting it soon after i get it.. and not getting the indash nav or sunroof unless i get an awesome deal and plan on going for an aftermarket in dash dvd so basically its gonna be a basic FX4 but im curious if i should get leather seats or not.. does anybody have cloth seats and regret not getting leather? not that much difference in price tag well not enough to make or break the deal.. so should i get leather or not? plan on getting some custom fitted camo seat covers but is the leather more of a comfortable seat than the cloth? ive had both leather and cloth but my azz cant remember well

Go with leather and covers. Cloth gets nasty to easy.

deff go with leather. cloth holds smells, is hard to keep clean, and is not near as nice as leather. 10 of my 13 rides I have had in my life were leather and I prob won't ever get cloth again. Love the leather in my FX2.

Have had leather and now cloth, much prefer the cloth. Each has it's pros and cons, but the wear of the leather (even when taken care of) and heat in summer means for me, cloth is the preferred.

Get the leather. Easy to clean, smells good, comfortable, better resale down the road.

I'll never go back to cloth in any vehicle I own. Never, ever....never never never ever

Leather. I have leather in my G35 and had it in my 97 (with suede inserts later). If it wasn't so expensive I would put it in my Expd. If you get leather and don't like you can always get some fitted seat covers, like Wet Okole, and cover it, keeping your leather like new, and preserving resale.

Are the leather seats heated and cooled with that trim package on the FX4? If so, then you might want to consider the leather interior. Non-cooled leather seats can be very uncomfortable during hot and/or humid weather.

If you are just going to cover them with something else, then I am not sure why you bother with leather. I love leather seats, but have never owned a vehicle with them. I have had company supplied pickups for years and they don't anty up for leather.

It comes down to personal choice. If you like them, go for it. They do resist odors better and wear very well. There is just something nice about good ole American Cow Hide.

I prefer cloth and have never had a dirt or stain problem.

I'm usually for cloth, but I'm not a fan of the FX4 having black cloth. If you have blond dogs or daughters, it will never look clean.

I had a 2010 FX2 with the standard leather seats and it was nice, But now I have a 2011 FX4 with luxury package and the quality of the leather and the seat cushioning is allot nicer than my 2010!
