Deciphering vin

I just bought a damaged 2010 Super Cab Lariet. Is there anywhere on line where I can enter my VIN and print off all particulars on the truck's options?
I am trying to figure out for example, which exterior mirrors it has and other questions. thanks

The site is up and working, I just tried to look up a 2011:

Obviously need to swap in your VIN. You also need to have Adobe Reader installed as the window stickers are PDF files. Hope that helps.

LMC truck has a VIN decoder page in their catalogs. There is also one at the top of this website, but not as detailed.

I just looked at the LMC on-line catalog and couldn't find the decoder. Or did you mean their paper version?

Wheel base is in the blue shaded area at the top of the sticker (145")... fuel tank size is amongst the additional options and the added prices (36 gallon) at the right of the sticker. I would imagine all the info you need is on that sticker, you just have to look at it a little deeper.

How bad off is this truck that you need to decode the VIN to figure out what mirrors it has? Seems like a lot of work to go through when you could just look at the side of the truck.

There are 6 different mirrors that could have been on the truck. [this one is missing] Signal, puddle, heated, memory, power fold ??? A code would be a BIG help.

You are right. A little harder look paid off. I see that it is the 145" wheelbase and car-part.com says it can have a 26 or 36 gallon tank. On the options section I see no mention of a gas tank or an additional charge for the same. I can then assume it is a 26. Will measure and compare at the salvage yard to be sure.

True but that can all be determined by looking at the mirror and the model. Most of the mirrors are model specific and the options are pretty limited from there.

Signal - Look for the LEDs (STD on Lariat)
Puddle - Look for the light on the bottom of the housing
Heated - Look for the wavy line icon on the mirror or switch in the truck
Memory - This should be held in the truck not the mirror (STD on Lariat)
Power Fold - Pretty sure this is only on the KR and Platinum (has all the options)
Trailer Tow - They're huge
Chrome Cap, Painted etc - Obvious and will also limit the options.

Tell us what the other one is or better yet put up a pic and the guys here can tell you what you have.

Yes, I haven't had a chance to look closely at the truck yet. Also I will compare the colors and the number of wires to any replacement mirrors I find.
Your list of what to check is helpful and I printed it off THANKS.

Next question in case there are bodymen listening. When I search car-part.com for a rear [scab] door they only show 09 and up. I have been told the scabs are the same dimensions back to 04, and they sure look the same.
There is a nice pair of 08's at a local salvage yard. Anyone know if they would bolt up OK?

Dale, why not just post the vin, or even better, a link to the above sticker with the new vin attached, and we can help you to decipher it is exactly you are looking for?
