If you want no drone get the Corsa dB Performance kit if they make it for the new engines, have one for my 10 5.4L and really like it, quiet when cruising and loud when I want it to be. My .02. Good luck with whatever you go with. Never had MBRP, but have had Flowmaster (never again), Magnaflow (awesome), and Corsa (even better).

I hope so. I dropped a line to MBRP since the kit was probably drop shipped from them. They told me the kit was supposed to come with band clamps and I told them what happened. So maybe it will get expedited a little bit since Auto Anything says they have to review the matter for a few days. Not sure what needs reviewing.

Well, MBRP ended up so far handling it appropriately. I received U-Bolt clamps which I'm not sure if that was an error or not. They are sending me a new tip, new band clamps, and a new tail pipe. At first they said to just bend the tail pipe back but they said they would replace it, it would just take a week to mfg that pipe. So far so good IMO.

Hi There,

I have had a good experience installing a Corsa system in my C-5 Corvette. No drone and nice and loud under acceleration.

I had a Borla system installed initially and the drone was terrible. So I switched to Corsa.

Best wishes.

Anyone who has a MBRP exhaust system on their trucks? I need a favor! I need to get a picture of the hanger at the muffler. I need to verify the correct orientation.

What's the best MBRP muffler to get? I have a flowmasters on right now (got it for free so why not) and just want to replace the muffler since I have everything else installed and welded already. Part number would be appreciated.

You should have checked out Arklights reviews on exhaust and you probably would have had a custom job done instead....his Borla xr-1's are awesome as well as the magnapack setup he had as well....i chose magnapacks just off of his reviews and vids he posted....Sucks your kit was messed up......not to mention now you have to wait.

I've ran all of Borlas, Magnaflow's mufflers before. I wanted to try something new. I have the kit and didn't have to wait too long considering they had to make the part. As far as the mistake had it happen before, nothing new when dealing with performance parts.
