A little Help for the indecisive..

Yes, as many of you know I am the most indecisive person in the world. I also will nit-pick decisions right down to the last minute. So.. it stands to reason now that I have so many wonderful choices from Ford, that I cannot for the life of me make up my mind :o

Back when I bought my 2005 the minute I saw it, well it was love at first sight and still is to this day. However, this time around I just have not been able to find that perfect truck, I love to many of them!

Now I turn to you fellow forum members to help push me along in one direction or another. I still reserve the right to make the final decision, someday in December As exciting as it is to be starting a new career in January, it is equally as exciting to know that at some point I will start a new love affair with another Ford truck!

My new commute will be 30 miles round trip, all highway at speeds of 55-65. I have no doubts either setup could yield decent mileage. I love all of the setups pictured below, and could see myself in any of them; but I have a feeling that having Raptors also pictured will skew my results in one direction

So without further delay here are the setups I am considering:

FX4-EcoBoost-3.73 with various options as shown, but basically fully loaded. (yes I took the liberty of 'chopping' the pictures a bit) I am also still debating the red/black on the fourth truck pictured

Sadly, I eliminated Silver and Blue from the lineup already, I just can't see myself in those colors...

You've already got a red truck, and already have a large-*** capable truck. So my vote is for the sportier looking ecoboost with light color. Much better as a daily driver IMO too.

I think if mileage is a concern at all, then you need to stick with the Eco FX4, and I think white as far as that goes.

My choice out of all is the white Raptor though! Can't really go wrong either way, bud.

Unfortunately, the mileage is what is stopping me from getting the Raptor.

From what I've read the eco with 3.73 isn't much savings vs the mileage of the raptor. A raptor is just badass no "chopping" needed. Nix the decals and get it in white. Ptm the flairs and u r golden.

I vote raptor. If you can see past the sticker shock anyways. An instant head turner as is, but I'm sure you will do an excellent job of spicing it up. Color is a personal preference, really doesn't matter. But for the record, I vote flame blue surpasses the rest.

Raptor, your daily commute isnt bad at all. In the back of your head if you get the FX4 you will wonder why you didnt get the Raptor.

The terrain here is extremely flat, so that paired with the speeds I'd be traveling I feel either should do well in the mpg department. Mpgs are a consideration, but not a deal breaker now; they where going to be a deal breaker when my commute was upwards of 100-200 miles. Ill get killed on city mileage in either one, i also live in a stop light happy city..As mentioned, the lifetime averages I am seeing for an FX4 ecoboost setup and the highway averages for raptors are only about 2-4 mpgs apart.

The 2012 raptor also got a 2mpg increase, which is being hotly debated how it got the increase, it's worth noting at least.

Also no big plans for the next truck as of yet. I'd just like to do a projector retrofit, bed liner, leds, rigid led lighting, bed cover and some interior paint.

Based on your username, I would have to pick the FX4.

I vote for the first FX4. Although the black wheels on the second is giving me second thoughts...
