Looking for Pics of Supercrew with 6.5' Box

Hey, I am trying to decide between the 5.5' and 6.5' bed on my new F150. It will be a supercrew 4x4 and I plan to at least level it with 33's, maybe a lift with 35's. Stock the 6.5' looks really long but I know they look better with a level or lift, just can't find a lot of pics. If there is already a thread somewhere please direct me to it as I searched for a while.

Thanks!

I would go with the 6.5'. I have that setup on my 07. I will tell you, I didn't care for the look stock. With the factory rake, the bed looked disproportionate. It looks so much better leveled. Since you are planning on leveling or lifting, it will look great.

I know you are looking at the newer body style, but here is my 07 supercrew with the 6.5' bed. Leveled and almost a 34" tire.

Hey, truck looks awesome! Any idea how tall the truck is? I am guessing it is a little too tall to fit in a 7' garage door?

with a 6" and 35's you should fit in a 7ft garage. don't forget about the arm that drops from the chain to the door

If you use your bed alot then I would say go with the 6.5' bed. I use my truck a lot for hunting and helping people move and the 5.5' bed gets full quick, especially since I have a toolbox. I agree that the 6.5' beds look a little odd stock, but they look great when you level or lift them.

Correct, I'm just shy of 7ft by like 2 inches. I've been thru a 7ft car wash no problem, but sure looks close. I've also been in a couple parking garages, I like to keep an eye on the antenna since its just a tad higher then the cab.

Maybe someday Ford will listen and build a true truck with an eight footer. If they can do it with the Superduty, they should donut with the F-150. Yeah, that would be long, but useful.

Heres mine. i had a thread with a few pics. Also my attached garage is 6'10". It will fit now with 6" lift and 33's, but skims the upper weather stripping of the garage door. So i dont bother...to close for comfort. Anyway enjoy and i love having the 6.5' I had the 5.5' last time and got sick of it.

Thanks guys for the pics!

pgh medic-that is pretty much the exact truck I am looking at, just hard to find an ecoboost with the 6.5' box, have found several 5.0's that I like but I need to drive the eco and see if I like it.

I had the same problem finding a 6.5' bed in the Houston area. Had to go to ranch country out in rural Texas where ranchers need the 6.5' bed to tow goose neck cattle trailers. I am sure in Neb. there are areas that cater to farm and ranch business.

My dealer supposedly did a search country-wide and was unable to find that truck, so I had it built.

Havent driven the 5.0, I went to a dealer to drive both and make a comparison. First truck I drove had the EB. Never made it to the 5.0
