I've got a cross box in mine, breaks the transition from the back of the cab back. Only two disadvantages with the longer wheelbase I can find is that it is a little harder to park in town and the breakover angle is shallower for clearing obstacles.

The long bed looks 10 times better on a lifted F150.

Back to the top, would love to see some more current pics of leveled or lifted crews with the 6.5' box!

Thanks!

look at my garage pics. I have some in there.

Also I have 33's. Looking at 34" or something close for highway and towing. But its gonna be a little more narrow than the 33x12.50 I have on now.

I also was looking at 5.5' boxes, then found this truck. Im happy with it.
If you dont plan on putting a whole lot in the back of the truck, a 5.5' might be fine for you. a little extra room to fit into parking spots...

Yeah, I hate those 5.5' beds. They look stupid and I right away think "Soccer Mom." It used to be that 8' beds were the standard. Then it was 6'/6.5' beds, and now its 5.5' beds. Next it will be the 4' bed, and you'll have to special order the 5.5' because that will be too big for the Soccer Moms and the suburbanite Birkenstock wearing males. One of my co-workers has a toolbox on his 5.5' bed and has to get a trailer when he needs to a few sheets of plywood or sheetrock.
