I just placed my order with the optional tv tuner. Don't know what to expect but this seller has been quick to respond, helpful and patient with all my questions.

Now I need to figure out how to install, did I mention I'm not electronics (mind you I did do the side mirror turn signal mod that came out nice).

Anyway, should start to prepare by getting a wiring diagram if someone can post/send or direct me to where I can get that.

It almost looks like plug in play to your original harness. Keep us posted on that. My concern would be taking the console apart without breaking tabs or scratching anything. I would probably go Ape s$#@ crazy and break all the tabs off. Good luck buddy.

Subscribed. I too want to do this. When I talked to the sales girl at the dealership, she said the weather in Japan just crushed Ford's chances of putting these in most of the trucks. That's why you would be lucky to find any on the lot right now with this feature. Good luck and be sure to take pics.

The seller confirmed that it supports the OEM rear view backup camera on their 7" monitor. Where can I find the factory wire(s) that run up to the rear view mirror and what color are they?

 

I have a pic of the TV tuner and its included accessories, it was sent to me by the seller in PDF but I can't figure out how to attach it to this post (if thats even possible). Can someone walk me through it.

It's here!

It took all of 3 days to ship from seller to my front door.

Head unit is a gloss black which I'm ok with because I have the FX4 Lux pkg. which is similar except without the vertical hash lines on the original.

After speading everything out on the kitchen table I realize there is absolutely no way I'm gonna figure this out especially since there is no installation manual that comes with it (just a user manual) and I don't have a wiring diagram for my '10 w/sirius and sync.

I've been searching all over online trying to find some diagrams without actually having to buy the Ford manual but no luck. So I was about to order one on ebay for $40 but they don't ship to Canada (what's up with that its just a paper back book).

Anyway, if someone could help me out with the diagrams that would be appreciated beyond belief. Otherwise all this stuff is going back in the box untill I can figure it out (hopefully soon cause its not getting any warmer outside).

 

You can buy the repair manual on cd for only a few bucks on ebay. Its probably a burned copy but its all the same.

Formula, which audio system do you have from factory? base? sony? sync? rear park aid? Camera? There are wayyyy too many variables, and every different scenario has its own group of pages. I have the 2010 wiring diagram book. I can take a pic and email the pages to u.
