I need to get a new windshield in my truck and they were asking me if it has the rain sensors (which it doesn't) but I was wondering if anybody knows what the difference is? I know the Platinums have them, but its just got me curious?

 

There is a small, round, metallic disc with electrical connections above, right of the rear view mirror mount. This is the rain sensor.
