I don't quite understand what you meant when you say it stops at 1500 rpm for you. Are you saying the electro-nannies are jumping in and shutting down the fun???

No that is the stall for it. I have never had one that low. All of my other trucks were 2000.

Pretty impressive ..... those times and speed numbers rival many of the "super cars" of the '60s and '70s.

On my 15.26 run, my 1/8 was 9.81 @ 71.70 mph. Not sure what the FX2 was.

I ran a 15.09, 15.20, and a 15.23 all at 92 to 93 mph. The da for those runs was 2519, so it is similar to what you encountered. Corrected, my best run came out to 14.62 at 96. I can't wait until fall to get some good air and try to get that number.
In Drag Racing the 60 ft. time is the big factor on what the rest of the run will be.The 6.2 makes more torque then the EcoBoost but at 4,500 rpm. What does it make at 2,500 rpm where the EcoBoost makes 420 lb.ft?That's why the EcoBoost has better 60 ft.times.

Later Mark.

When i ran the 14.97 at 93.25 mph last weekend with my 2011 Supercab 4X4,EcoBoost and 3.55 gears my 1/8 mile time was a 9.67 at 73.22 mph and the 60 ft.time was a 2.26.

Later Mark.

How many miles are on your truck? Did you reprogram for your bigger tires?

2300 miles.

No I didnt reprogram for the tires. The speedo is 2 mph slow at 70mph compared to GPS. At slower speeds its still dead on.... Im not going to worry about it.

Well I played with it last night and I think you are correct. The rpm goes up to 1600-1700 then just drops to 1500 and stays there. I tried to power brake with it and I couldn't. And yes I did hold down t/c button and deactivated the advance trac. It just wont do it. He'll my 2010 with the 4.6 3v could powerbrake. It has to be the nannies like you put it.
