I think some are reading more into this than what is actually printed.
It doesn't say anything about power fold mirrors. It says power glass, same as today's trucks.
MyTouch? Where does anyone see that? It says Sync.
36 gallon tank? It says "Available on select series" under all the options. That sounds like the literature on todays trucks too.
I'm hoping for all these things too but let's be realistic and read what's printed. Oh, and this sheet also lists Tuxedo Black Metallic so I'm not sure if anything on it can be trusted.

The 36 gallon tank is listed here as optional. It is listed as the top option. For 2011, the 36 gallon tank is a standard feature. You either get a 26 gallon standard or a 36 gallon standard. The "36 gallon tank” package is optional, but for fleets only in 2011. The 2012 preview lists the 36 gallon tank under the regular "optional" side and they differentiate this between "fleet exclusives." Therefore I believe the 36 gallon to be an option you can check or maybe get in a package (heavy-duty payload) for 2012 on trucks that the 36 gallon tank is not standard (i.e. EcoBoost.)
Good point on the heavy-duty payload only being available for XL and XLT currently. Let's hope that doesn't continue. There are no asterisks on the chart next to the payload numbers so I am hoping heavy-duty payload will be available on every Max Tow model like FX, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum as it should. People are buying less and less supercabs and regular cabs these days and need a higher payload on SuperCrew and more than just the plain old XLT please.

2012 Lariat Supercrew Ecoboost 4X4 with 36 gal tank, power folding mirrors, 6.5' bed, 2 speed AWD (Hope this is still a true 4X4 system, looks like it) with 1 TON of payload.
The word I heard about MyFordTouch was that it would be available mainly for a replacement for the Nav system. Have never used MyFordTouch before but I guess it is about the same thing as far as a touch screen that integrates everything from phone, music, and nav like the current nav. Haven't seen where ford has confirmed this, but expect an answer soon. They can't (shouldn't) just skip the nav option. A lot of buyers are interested in this.
Anyone played with MyFord Touch before that can fill me in?
The F150 is going to get MUCH lighter in the next few years (2016 gov fuel standards) or be increased to over 8500 GVWR to not be affected. If you want a smooth riding truck that can tow 10K and get decent mileage and power, now is the time. In 5 years you will have to buy a SD and a car (or F100) to drive or buy an older truck. I'm just going on and on...guess that 2011 I ordered will have to go to someone else.

I looked at that guide and I think it is a bit out-of-date. They have Bordeaux Reserve Red listed on the Flex, MKT and Taurus and the order guides which have been released have Cinnamon Metallic instead of Bordeaux Reserve. Also the F150 and the Super Duty both show Green Gem as a new color, but the Super Duty order guide has Forest Green. There are many other colors that are different. I just think that guide may be older and we shouldn't put too much into it. Hopefully the F150 order guide will come out real soon so we can know for sure.
I'm really hoping for a maroon color. The Super Duty and Expedition are getting a new color called Autumn Red. I also really hope they change the woodgrain in the Lariat.

This guide was published right after the earthquake in Japan so they were working on it long before all of the supply problems. The colors may be wrong, but the earthquake and tsuanmi shouldn't affect things like payload or the tank size. One thing it could affect are the stereos and nav...if Ford was not able to get enough of the current stereos, they could switch to MyFord Touch, but I know that is a long shot.

Thank you, Ford!
Welcome back, Rambo. What happened to Comet Flash?
By the way, I also read on the raptor forum that the rear camera package also includes a front camera. Sounds pretty cool. I don't know if this is Raptor specific, but this is another new item for 2012.

I don't think Ford will ever put the 6.2L in the SuperCrew with the 6.5' bed though because they figure if you need that you can buy a Super Duty and it probably negatively affects their CAFE standards.
Also, I get the impression Ford figures that the 6.2L is a luxury engine, (which it kind of is) because you have to be rich to afford the gas.
I really would want the 6.2L but after starting with my 97 Blazer that got 13 mpg and now having three Silverados that have gotten between 15-21 mpg, I don't think I could stomach going back to 12 mpg.
Hell my Edge gets about 18 mpg around town just like my Silverado and that drives me insane!

Power Kid posted 2011 payload number for a 2011 Lariat supercrew 6.5 with EcoBoost and the payload sticker was 90% of the advertised payload on Ford's website.
2012 supercrew 6.5 4x4 max payload: 2340 lbs
2340 lbs - 10% = 2106 lbs. That sounds about right for a loaded Lariat 4x4 with EcoBoost. Although, it could come in a little higher than that due to the heavy duty payload package coming into play. Maybe 2200+.

Ford is offering LSD in their trucks now? I would have loved that when I was younger, but it made me do stupid things, that I'm not willing to do anymore.

I think the point is that "Power sideview mirror" does not necessarily equal "Power folding mirror".
