I think the big thing is change it!
On the new F150 I'll use MC and Fords filters.
The explanation it's obvious you can use cooking oil in your 4 Runner and it just works forever don't even dream to use a Fram filter in our F150 it may destroy the engine.

I usually buy the oil at Rockauto I buy the 6Gal box FULL synthetic at $63.89 + $3.39 each MC Oil Filter + Around $20 S/H and NO TAX.

Each qt Motorcraft 5W-30 FULL Synthetic will cost me less than 3.50 S/H INCLUDED

Motorcraft FULL SYNTHETIC

After this analysis I have decided to make the switch. The first report is for Mobil 1 and the second is for Motorcraft. They were spot on with their analysis of the higher iron levels as I had been towing more often and the majority of the driving was done during the winter months. I will be running Motorcraft for 5-6k miles from now on because thats where I'm personally comfortable with my oil change interval. I'm not posting this to start an oil rant. Just wanted to help anyone out that was interested.
