OK then... now back on topic; has anyone actually purchased and installed this exhaust system? Just waiting for some guinea pigs to report back what they find...

I also have a boat. So I have TWO, 2 separate toys. Just like I have two, 2
trucks.

I am done with you moron and this thread. I know now how other members feel on this site when it comes to other toys besides there truck, which on these forums don't talk about anything other than F150's!
So you own all these toys and you are 20 years old, thats pretty swell. DO you still live with your parents?

I emailed Gibson inquiring about sound clips of their cat-back swept side on the eco-boost and they replied that they are updating their website and to check back in a month.

WOW this thread got painful and useless for a while there. Thanks for getting back on topic folks! It'd be great if there was a good exhaust option that let the turbos sing but without the "rice rocket" effect. Is there another way to let the turbos sing besides just an exhaust mod? It'd be great to retain that quiet "sneaky" exhaust tone with a little more turbo whine! I guess I didn't realize that the current exhaust choked out the turbos so much!

I know it will never sound like a V8, but i should have the Gibson single swept side early next week. The truck is getting an intake designed right now, so it will be later in the week before i get to install the exhuast unfortunately.

...it's nice to see that every forum has people who like to crap in threads, won't be a hard switch for a newbie it seems.

i will try for sure next week when it's all together. he dyno from Gibson showed about 20hp and 28tq as max gain around 3600rpm, though peak was only a bit higher than stock pull. bit more grunt in the 3k range where they peaked is what i was looking for anyhow.

To me it still sounds like a 6,but if you see a good increase in horsepower then I would go for it.

Waiting on Mr Tea, would love to hear the intake, and then exhaust. I had an intake on my MS6, and it gave that car huge power gains, the fact that I can barely hear the turbos means to me that they have silencers in there which is a restriction. Should be able to hear that thing screaming under lad, and then hear the bypass valves when you let off the throttle.

sorry, Injen had the truck until this morning, so haven't done anything. They dropped the truck off this morning, but i will have to wait for the finished product in a couple months as they didn't get a chance to make a 2nd proto. Also, they had issues getting consistant results on the dyno with the truck, kept having a fit or something? so they are going to take the info they got and see if they can get some consistant averages before moving forward.

Anyhow the exhuast. it showed up about 2 hours before the truck, so that was good. Actually took under 30min from start to finish for the swap which was nice, not having to lift the truck at all saves a bit of time. there is a bit more rumble down low, and more turbo whine when i'm on it, but i don't think anyone not listening for it would hear a difference. still sounds like a 6cyl for sure.

Power comes in a bit of a wave in the 3-4k range, i almost feel like the turbos spool as normal, then another push right after that really gets the truck going. feels really good, but not earth shattering. really interested in what the 4" would feel like if the gains are true.
