New body on 37s
New body on 37s
Hey guys i've been throwing around the idea of getting a 2010 F150 FX4, i haven't read into much on whether or not there is a big difference in the older body verse the new when it comes to lifting and tire fitment. Are you all able to fit 37s under a 6" lift. Im thinkin of getting the Kuhmo MTs and they run 36.4"s tall. What's the likely hood of fitting these with a 6". The wheels im thinking of going with are 24x12 with -44 offset. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Kumho's run small, so you may be alright. I have a 38x15.50 Kumho MT that measures barely 37... The BDS kit, I think, is the one that claims to fit 37's. A member over on F150forum, and possibly he is here too, has this kit with 37's with little to no issue if I recall correctly.
I'd just get a six inch, throw on an autospring 1.5" spacer and run the 37's with little to no issues, except the TC possibly.

37s will fit with 6" of lift but not on that wheel. If I remember correctly you'll need a 9" wheel with around 5 1/2" of backspacing to make it work. With a Fabtech 6" and 35/12.50/20s mounted on 20"x10" wheels I rub every now and then even after trimming.
what dealer are you going to buy from ... Reynolds in Edmond? i bought my first truck a long time ago from them, it was a bad experience. If not you should check out Bob Moore Ford over in Moore off I-35 and ask for Dennis, hes really helpful and will get you a good deal. I dunno if they have many 2010's though
6in bds lift and 35's...no tc issue's on mine in two years. It seems rim specs and tire width are the deciding factors on if it would fit.

i bought my truck from marc heitz in purcell oklahoma. i knew i was going to buy my next vehicle from them even before i was looking. i heard nothing but good things about them from multiple people. I went down there about a year later and bought my truck and couldnt be happier. its a little bit of a drive but it was worth it. they have a large inventory out there as well. i went to bob moore for service one time and the looked at me like i was an idiot. no sense of urgency and very rude. i just needed them to look at my tpms sensor and he told me 3 hours before he could even look at it with out looking at his appts or anything. it was an old crusty guy but still first impressions are everything. its the closet dealer to my house but i will never go back.

no way you are fitting a 12" wide wheel with -44 offset on a 6" lift with 37's. you would have to do a lot of trimming to fit that.
BDS recommends pretty much stock wheels on their 6" to clear 37's which are like 5" narrower and alot less backspacing than the wheels you want. go ahead and get a 8" lift atleast or go with 35s and still plan to trim

Theres a truck that was built using 20x10 RBP wheels and 37" Toyos. That truck was a 2wd too.. I think the width your wanting may be too wide though... I would consider more around 10" wide or less and no wider than a 13.50 tire. Heres the link for the truck.http://www.truckinweb.com/tech/0910t...dup/index.html
