mpg should be ok with high flow cats, but still the warranty concerns me, generally the free flowing exhaust helps turbos a lot, along with an intake, which I would love Ford Racing to develop one.

the correct intake helps, a bad one can wipe out a decent amount of parts on a turbo'd set up.

exhaust might help, but on my 6.0 diesel dealers wouldn't touch it under warranty w/ my straight pipe. took me about 5 dealers before i found one who'd work with me

I wonder what the "high-flow catalytic converters with wide pipes" sound like?

I'm loving my EB, but I would bolt on exhaust in a heartbeat if it truly netted me 30 rwhp and didn't sound like rice.

Some of the exhaust out there are not too bad, but still not what we would expect from a truck. Its tough for us that have always heard that deep throaty sound from a V8 to adapt to a V6 exhaust note.

If anything Id like a free flowing exhaust that gets power gains but is not too loud over stock, just so it doesn't sound like its modified.

Sound means nothing, just ask that moron in the loud chevy who tried to run my Ecoboost. His obnoxiously loud truck didn't stand an chance to my quiet as a whisper truck. Truth be told, sound is just wasted energy.

I couldn't agree more. I know I bought a V6 and am completely willing (and honestly kinda prefer) to accept virtual silence from the exhaust.

I get crap from other buddies of mine that are younger, but Id have to agree with them, the older I get the more I like quiet and comfortable, and I am only 29....What the heck will I be like at 40???
