War Eagle 2011 150 Build Thread

I am new to F150 Online as I just purchase a Black 2011 F150 XLT with the chrome and SYNC package (off the lot). So I thought I would start a build thread and invite ideas and or suggestions from the members.

I have already done a few mods in the two weeks I have owned her. The following are the pics.

1. Harley Blacked out lights - Didn't like the look of all that chrome. I like the wheels, bumpers and the grill though.
2. Pioneer Z120bt Navigation/DVD player in the front. If you do this buy the Scoshe dash kit. I bought both the Scoshe and the Metra. The metra is a piece of junk and looks horrible.
3. Linex the bed.
4. Weather Tech Digital Fit Front Floor mats & Rear all the way across.

I am looking at the BDS leveling kit, but am not sure what else is out there. I would like to put some 35" tires on her real soon. Any thoughts on leveling kits?

Picture 1: Stock Taillights

Picture 2: Harley Tails

Picture 3: Start-up Screen on Pioneer. Tried to get one that looked as stock as possible.

Picture 4: Pioneer Navigation/DVD/iPod Showing Sienfeld from my iPod.

Pictue 5: Linex - Sorry for the srap wood.

Picture 6: Linex Under Tailgate. They shot everything metal.

Picture 7: Linex

Picture 8:Weather Tech on Pass Front.

I am really happy thus far. The Pioneer has a rear view camera and I have retained all of my Sync capabilities using two modules I bought from PAC during the install. Bought all electronics from Crutchfield and got everything I needed. However, it is not for the faint of heart. My stereo install guy had her for an entire day. The inside is way better than my 99 silverado (which I had to keep, the dealer wouldn't give me anything). Only downside thus far is I can't find a suitable place for my 1911 (ideas are appreciated).

Let me what you think and lend me some pointers as to upgrades.

Thanks in advance.

Looking good! Did you do the Harley headlights? I am looking forward to seeing it with 35's. I would recommend nitto trail grapplers. I am looking at getting a '10 King Ranch and putting it on 35's. That or a 08-09 Tahoe Z71.

War Eagle! I live in Auburn, what about you?

Nice subscribed I have a white 2011 xlt with the chrome package. I'm not a fan of all the chrome though. How did you do the tails? did you split them apart and then paint them?

Lovin the tail lights. As for a spot for your 1911 I'd prob say in the center console.

I'm in St. Louis. My wife and I graduated in 2000.

Bought the tails NIB online. Two 8mm bolts each side, plug and play man!

Very nice mod list. I like the pioneer unit looks clean and flush, just like the factory unit. Which engine did you get? Just curious.

190.00 plus shipping.

There is a section marked for cutting out if you have the factory subwoofer. Being a fews days old, I imagine they need more time to lay rested.

Thansk for the tip. I have the folding third seat, which uses the back of the seat to hold drinks. I was able to fit my commander length 1911 in the cubby. Not ideal. As I am right handed and that woudl give me a weak hand draw. I am looking into a holster which straps to the seat itself for easy access.

looks good.

for a leveling kit check out auto spring on ebay or they're have a website. majority of members here seem to use them. they are a lot cheaper than most brands but no one has had any issues with them.
