Cabelas Edition Under-Seat Rifle Storage

Three Questions:

1. Will it fit an F150 SuperCrew?
2. Can they still be purchased?
3. Where can I purchase one?

I have searched all over the internet and only found pictures and a possible part number. A call to the accessories sales girl from my local dealer only harvested a DuHu Underseat Storage unit. Not nearly as cool.

Part Number (possibly): 9C3Z7811JA00AA

go to the ford dealer, just say you have an 08 cabela's f250 and need a new one.

is the floor in the back of your truck flat?

i feel like it's going to be a little wide, even if it did fit length wise mounting it would be another issue. best bet would be go to a dealer and do some measuring. if the f250 is at my house today ill measure it later for you for width of seat bracket to seat bracket if that'll help

Welcome, nice looking truck! Then again, I'm partial to black.

I've got a set of Wet Okole seat covers with a built in gun tote.

And a center console safe for when it needs to be locked up.

Another member (GBTexas) also uses a center console safe to store his pistol.

Good to see you can put a smilie at your good natured rib. I married a War Eagle, so its in our family blood. Great rivalry, but I think you'll have to admit Toomers Corner trees poisoning went too far.

Great truck by OP- War Eagle

Correct---silly me---even my wife corrected me, I did marry a Tiger (in the truest sense of the word-every aspect). Wow she is livid about Toomer's trees as are her sisters in Lanett. Never heard so many f-bombs in my life, the very thought of what happened gets her pretty riled up.

We are fortunate-- we got to go to the GAME here in Glendale---thrill of a lifetime, right up there with that EPIC comeback in the Iron Bowl

I called the dealer. They could find nothing even after supplying him with that part number I had. He said to call him in an hour, and that he was going to put it on a message board everyone looks at to see if he gets some hits. Will repot his findings.

I have a 40/20/40, and can't get all the way to the bottom of the seat (large console location) to draw a pistol. The Wet Okole system looks great. Conceled but accessible. I will look into designing something like it.

Hell of a season. Did your Tiger wife go to Phoenix?

Yes that guy is STILL an idiot.

Found a temp suitable place to holster handguns conceled while driving from place to place.

Started with an ELITE IWB holster. My loving wife set me up with some industrial grade velcro she uses for crafts. I am able to hide the exposed grip with my leg to keep them concealed, but still able to purchase the weapons for clean draw.

Holds my Commander length Tac OPS Sig 1911, plus a "silent" partner,. Mr. Osprey45:

There is room for my 6.5" 629:

Still looking for a decent lockable under-rear seat case for rifles. Needs to be lockable so in the rare event that the truck is not locked or someone other than me (my children) is rooting around they cannot get their little fingers on anything that might be in there. Although, where I live, it is illegal to ride around with a loaded rifle or shotgun.

Found a Cableas box through my local Ford Parts department. It is 638.00 + Tax. Unfortunatly they will charge 18% if they order one and I don't want it because of fitment issues. The parts guy is going to check around to see if he can get someone to measure it for me. He also believes that the F250 rear seats sit higher than the F150 SuperCrew (more room). Anybody car to comment on measurements of the F150 compared to the F250?

Thanks in advance.

If you have the fold down console with the middle seat, try this. Put the console up and reach down undeer the center seat, next to the floor. Grab hold of the front of the seat and jerk it up. There is a nice storage area underneath it, at least there is in the 2004-2008s. The seat just pops back into place. The salesman at the dealer showed me this as it's where he kept his gun.

For all those thnking about the Cabelas under rear seat storage fir the F150 SCrew like I was, it does not fit. My local dealer brought one in for me to look at today (no charge thankfully). It does not fit the F150 SCrew. Too wide and too tall.

Looking fir ideas better than DuHa, but less than a mortgage payment. Let me know!

LOL! but you know what????, I watched all the top draft picks the other night and none of them looked like they were living in a trailer park. Including #5 Geaux Tigers pick........LOL. All sporting 50k bling bling watches and diamonds in their ear bigger than my wife's wedding ring. How'd they all get that???? Hummmm??? Truth is boosters behind the scenes make sure none of these kids starve. Its been going on for the last 60 years or more.
