Fumoto Valve F107N?

Anyone know if this valve fits the Ecoboost? I was told it's the right one, but want to make sure. They make an extension if the drain plug threads are recessed in the oil pan. I looked under an EB at the dealer but with the skid plates I couldn't see the drain plug.

I assume the nipple is for hose attachment to drain into the pan via hose instead of simply letting gravity take over and splash where it may?

My EB is on order and I haven't seen under one yet, so I don't know if the drain is on the bottom or side of the pan. If on the bottom, will this valve become an instant target for road debris?

I have had the Fumoto with nipple on all 5 of my last trucks and never had an issue. I did own 4X4's but even with 4X2's I think you'll be fine. They don't hang dowm much at all and the nipple is cool, attach the hose turn the lever and come back in 5 minutes your done. No splash not even a drop of oil on your hands! I put the hose directly into the oil recovery tank through the small hole. So you don't need a drain pan.

And will the same valve (F107N) work on the 2011 5.0?

It clears everything on the 5.0? Isn't there something right by the oil pan on the 5.0L. Brain fart...
