From 15-18mpg..haha

So with my mods I usually get around 15-16mpg because I tend to be a little vicious on the throttle. The other day I had to take a 180 mile trip and just loaded a new custom tune; figured I'd take it easy just to see how the truck did. The tank was full when I started out, the pic is about 1/4 tank in.

Jeez, wanna trade ? I get high 13's 50/50 driving while being aggressive on the throttle. I know our Cali fuel is the worst in MPG's, but damn. I'm curious, your speedo says 55-60 mph, did you achieve that MPG going that speed? If so, I'd fall asleep and probably crash . On road trips I can't go under 70mph.

I don't care what engine you have, if you drive like a grandpa, you can get better fuel economy. I've tried it and it works. Not much fun, but it works.

Everyone should give it a try for a tank or two.

Exactly. It's amazing how much it really depends on your foot.

Cool, what performance mods are done to your truck? My surprise is I'm running a heck of a lot more through it than stock with the 93 custom tune, 4" lift and 35" tires.

Lots of hills? Stop and go?

My truck see's it's best mpg when driven on rural roads doing 50-60mph as consistantly as possible. Too much stop and go, hills or highway over 70mph, mpg drops.

I've averaged 20mpg since purchasing this truck in Jan. '11. See in the 20 range in the warmer months. This time of year I'm lucky to see better than 19. Rarely see below 17. I've got a pretty basic, light truck though.

I too drive my 2010 easy on the peddle and get mid 14's very disappointed in the MPG of my 150. Have a 02 150 w/5.4 FX4 that is consistently in the high 16 to 17 as well as a 96 Explorer 4.0 that does better. Only good thing is that's what I make on the road as well about 14.

Nothing. I did have the Airaid intake on it, but took it off because I was getting sick of the BOV popping under light acceleration. The intake definitely sounded great under load and it improved MPG by maybe .3

I can get as high as 24 mpg on the highway with the cruise set on 75 depending on the wind Keep in mind I am in Oklahoma so the wind is a real issue.https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...heel-drive.jpg
