2009 F150 AS 2"leveling kit 295/70/18 nittos on stock rims, steering is making a pop?

Hello all, longtime looker 1st time poster on here.
I had this combo on for 2 months or so with no issues, now today when i made a hard left my steering popped? I made more turns towards home & popped again when turning hard left or right? I went home & turned the wheels left & right in the driveway & got it to do it pretty much everytime when going from full left to right & the opposite? Had a buddy do it while I was underneath seems like its in the rack?

Anyone else run into this? & did you take it to the dealer? I can just imagine how they will like the fact its leveled & has the bigger tires............help

Sounds like something is getting in a bind and or making contact on hard turns. I'd watch for signs of wear on something like the coil spring, upper control arms, or around the bump stops on the lower control arms for a start... Pops and vibrations are very tricky to diagnose If its doing it while turning them still it's possible something in the rack gave out, or something may have come loose elsewhere... Hard to say honestly.

thanks for the input, Ive been all over the net trying to find any info on this...with nothing.

Ya it does it sitting still, the coils are away from the upper a arms, so no issue there. I had a buddy turn the wheel while i was under & it seems like the popping is in the rack

grr this sucks
